Aria Resort & Casino – Aria Resort and Casino is a luxury resort and casino, and the first building in the CityCter complex, located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned by The Blackstone Group and operated by MGM Resorts International.
Construction began on June 25, 2006, with designs by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects. Aria received LEED Gold certification for its eco-friendly design, and is the largest hotel in the world to achieve such a feat. It was also among the top hotels in the world at the time of its opening on December 16, 2009. It was developed as a joint venture between MGM and Dubai World, before being sold to Blackstone in 2021.

The latter, also known as Shaboo, served in Bar Masa. Shaboo closed in 2012 and was replaced by a new restaurant-within-a-restaurant from Takayama. Known as Tetsu, it focuses on the teppanyaki style of Japanese cuisine.
A $7 million seafood restaurant opened later that year. Catch is known for attracting celebrities to its locations in New York and Los Angeles.
The buffet had previously featured an abundance of tiles, prompting comparisons from customers to the bathroom. Executive chef Shawn Smilie said, “We had these tiles everywhere, and people were saying it reminded them of a shower. That had to change.” The renovation replaced most of the tiles with wood and also added bright colors.

Downstairs behind the hotel check-desk is Maya Lin’s Silver River, a sculpture of the Colorado River. Made of reclaimed silver, it measures 87 ft (27 m) and weighs 3,700 pounds.
Located in the valet area is Vegas, the LED art installation by Jny Holzer. It measures 280 meters long, 18 meters high, and displays more than 200 scrolling Holzer “Truisms” for guests to read while waiting for their cars. Vegas was added to illuminate the dark side of the wallet.
