I was very excited to visit the casino in Goa – something I had only seen in movies. A casino on a boat- I was too tired to go.
My first visit to a casino in Goa was at Casino Pride 2. I would say this is the best casino in Goa for both beginners and veterans. We were a family of three and my daughter was around 9-10 at the time- so I was a bit worried as children were not allowed in the playground and I didn’t know what to expect. So I’d like to share my experience as a first timer and my daughter’s too, so those of you who want to visit a casino in Goa for the first time with family know what to expect.
After that, I went to the casino with my friends again. Coincidentally, this was also a floating casino in Goa- I have never visited land based casinos in Goa but they look boring….

Casino Pride is a grand cruise on the Mandavi River in Panjim, Goa. There are feeder boats that pick you up from their office and take you to the ship. The entrance to Casino Fakhar or Fakhar 2 is at Ports Jetty Captain on Dayanand Bandokar Road.
When we reached the area in the evening, we first checked prices, entry, rules etc. at 3-4 ticket offices.

The gaming zone inside the casino in Goa is on a separate level. There was a separate children’s room, a pair of 2 rooms on the next floor, a few toys, two beds, lots of water bottles, and generally a woman to supervise. Lots of kids, lots of noise around, lots of kids. Screaming, running etc
Children are allowed in the entertainment section with food and music on the same floor. But children are not allowed on the casino floor.
I gave her a phone to keep her busy, but the battery quickly died. She was not amused by the high decibel level and being around children like toddlers. However, many other children in our group enjoyed their time there by running, falling and screaming.
This visit, my daughter was very tired and sleepy so I left the casino in Goa at 12 pm with her.
