Casino Table Games – One of the many pleasures of a casino is the variety of games to play. And while there are hundreds of slots, with new ones being launched all the time, the best traditional table games have been around for generations.
All table games carry a heavy dose of luck, but it also makes you more creative in your betting strategies. It is this, and the fact that they are easy to learn, that makes them so attractive.
Casino Table Games
Perhaps the most popular casino game of all time, blackjack is loved by players of all ages and abilities. The premise is simple: you need to bring your card total closer to 21 than the dealer’s – or hope the dealer busts. If you go over 21, you lose.

What makes blackjack so attractive is that it has the lowest house, meaning you have more opportunities to make a profit in any given playing session. If you use even a basic playing strategy your house will be less than 0.5%.
The second most popular online casino table game is roulette. Everyone knows how to play the game – you just place a bet on your desired number, group of numbers, or options such as red or black. Then sit back, watching with anticipation as the roulette wheel spins and the little white ball wobbles before settling on a side. Are those your numbers, and did you win big?
Generations of casino players have devised their own winning strategies, including one named after James Bond. And sequential betting strategies, such as the Martingale system, dictate how and how much you should bet sequentially. But the truth of the matter is, one system is not more beneficial than another – and, in fact, no one should win at roulette in the long term.
But, and this is very interesting, anyone can win a lot of money in a roulette session. Just ask if your luck will come in or not.

Baccarat is seen as a more sophisticated game. But his image as a silent chaser of leading men is unfounded. This is probably the easiest game of all, and in addition, the casino player does not have to make any decision or action other than placing the initial bet.
To play, simply bet in the Player, Banker, or Tie box and let the dealer play cards to see who wins. Cards from ace to nine are of normal value, but 10 and picture cards are zero. The idea is to get as close to nine as possible – if your total is more than nine, you have to take 10. So if your total is 16, you have six points. Up to three cards are used in each hand.
There is a tight house in baccarat, so it makes for a fun diversion from bluff and the high-octane fun that roulette and blackjack provide.
Some of its closest relatives fall under the family casino hold’em, which is based on the popular poker game that many people play at home against friends and family. In casino hold’em, you only have to beat the dealer, not the other players.

You place your bet, draw two cards, look at three community cards and decide to call by matching the bet or folding your bet. The two remaining community cards are dealt, and you now have to hope that your poker hand beats the dealer or the dealer is disqualified (he must make a pair of 4 or better.)
The higher your hand ranks, the bigger your return, until a royal flush pays 100 to 1 of your initial bet.
Not too different from casino hold’em, three card stud is another card game on our list of casino table games where you try to beat the dealer. You place your bet again and get three cards. You now have to decide whether to call the ante to see if your hand beats the dealer’s three face-up cards.
If your three cards form a straight, three of a kind, or a straight flush, you get a bigger payout. You can also choose to play Pair Up at the start of the game, and this time all the cards will be dealt immediately. Your payment is higher in this version.

Michael Lawton, senior economic analyst for the Nevada Gaming Control Board, says the popularity is best captured by the number of units, or tables per game, that are reported. That’s because casinos are licensed quarterly for a certain number of table games, but not all of them are available every month. By 2022, there will be an average of 2,678 table games on the Strip per month.
