FlowPlay launches a free social casino game called Casino World. Not surprisingly, the title has a metagame where you can create your own virtual Las Vegas as if you were a gambling tycoon.
Casino World

It’s an exciting mix of social casino and mogul-making genres, and Seattle-based FlowPlay hopes to breathe new life into what analytics firm Eilers & Krejcik calls the $5.2 billion social casino gaming market. The number of social casino players isn’t growing as much as it used to, but average sales per person are increasing, and the market is expanding.
Most Famous Casino Hotels In The World
Casino World is a desktop browser game where people play various casino-style games while building their own casino/casino strip. The idea is that players win and earn a fortune, they can use it to become their own casino tycoon, building and running a casino in this virtual world.
FlowPlay’s previous games such as Our World (released in 2008) and Vegas World (released in 2012) have over 75 million registered players to date. Morton hopes Casino World can attract more players.
Casino World offers over 40 games including 30 slot machines. That’s a lot of material, and it’s one of the reasons it took the company nearly two years to complete. FlowPlay began open beta in July.
Casino World Tycoons can play their favorite games, chat with friends, share virtual prizes, host parties and build an empire with thousands of online players. Like FlowPlay’s previous games, players can compete to host the most friends in an online party at a nightclub.
Our Casino World Tour Bucket List
FlowPlay’s new game allows players to create and customize an immersive city with interactive and social elements to beat the house. Players can personalize their casino world city to build and move new buildings, from luxury hotels to funky dance clubs to glitzy slot halls. You can build 250 buildings at a time.
“Most large buildings actually have interiors,” Flowplay CEO Derrick Morton told GamesBeat. “People can actually walk into your building and enter a room. So, there are nightclubs, restaurants, and bars. They go to your city map, click on a building, actually see some rooms, and walk around with their avatar in that fancy nightclub you’ve built. . Then you can host your event at a fancy night club. Now there’s competition to have people come to the party and become your party. So it’s a social casino in its core loop, but a much bigger metagame in terms of city building.
As you grow your empire, players will be awarded more coins to show their Casino World Tycoon status. Players can also set up “party rooms” that act as interactive chat rooms where users can invite their friends to chat.

“FlowPlay not only develops great free online casino games, but also fosters social and real-life connections through the community we’ve built for our players,” said Morton. “With Casino World, we wanted players to experience a new way of interacting with the casino environment, allowing players to create their own slots and bingo halls that will reward them with extra coins. Players can now create the city of their dreams while sharing the experience with their Casino World friends. .

Casino World features over 200 new player avatars with distinct personality traits including motion-based expressions and sound bites. As players earn Avatar Tokens, they gain access to new Avatar characters with more special personality traits, clothing and styles.
“As soon as you play the game, it kind of has a fun storyline,” Morton said. “You’re first introduced to the building by this rich cowboy. But, at some point, he gets replaced by the mafia. Then the mafia has to leave town because the CIA comes in and kicks them out of town. Then aliens and vampires come in. It’s a much bigger story that unfolds. It could take months to do.”
Casino World is also introducing Milestone Rewards, a new level-based rewards system that awards players with special attractions, extra coins, and party passes that give players free access to Casino World city buildings and user-run parties. As players earn money within the game, they unlock new reward levels that tell the interactive story of the creation of the casino world.
Fighting against the crowded mobile app market, FlowPlay has launched Casino World exclusively for desktop play. Casino World players can access and enjoy a full-featured PC-style world without losing the environment needed to accommodate mobile devices. Casino World is the most immersive and realistic flowplay title with unparalleled gameplay features and interactivity.
Getting Started In Casino World
Flowplay also partnered with publisher Clearing House, a digital entertainment and commerce destination for millions of American consumers, for the Casino World “$25,000 Charmed Life Sweepstakes.”
Easterners who register for the sweepstakes by 11:59pm on October 27th will have a free chance to win a guaranteed $25,000 prize. Approximately two weeks after the lucky winner is selected, the renowned Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol will accompany Morton to surprise the winning check at the winner’s home.
“The sweepstakes shows up at your door with a big check,” Morton said. “Well, I’ll personally show up at the door with a big check.” It’s going to be fun. So they are running $25,000 each for each person to learn about the casino world.

FlowPlay was founded in 2006 and now has 60 employees and a development team in China. The company has consistently released new games to the social sports betting market, but FlowPlay’s games were built on Flash software, but was caught up in Adobe’s decision to scrap its Flash software.

“The end of support for Adobe Flash has taken a toll,” Morton said. “The massive multiplayer platform had 1.4 million lines of code that needed to be converted. So it took more than two years to create a whole new version of Vegas World that would run on mobile or in a browser. It took a long time.”
“One of the things we’re experimenting with at Casino World is making it a subscription-based product instead of an in-app purchase product,” Morton said.
